Moisture alarms

Reading the forums on our new trailer, a number of owners have had issues with water leaks in several locations. Two common locations that have been reported are under the 12 volt water pump and under the connections to the hot water heater. To try and mitigate any risk, I picked up a couple of these moisture alarms off Amazon.

First Alert Water Alarm

One nice feature of these is that the actual sensor can be detached and placed up to 6 feet from the head unit.
I have located 2 of these under our kitchen hutch and placed the sensors under the water pump and hot water heater.

As it happened, a couple of days after setting these up, one went off and upon further investigation, sure enough, we had a small leak under the pump. I don't want to think what might have happened if this had gone undetected for a long period. I have one more from the original set of three, and am trying to decide where would be the best place to put it.
